FSBO Marketing Privacy Policy

Effective September 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FSBO Marketing collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, seller tools, property pages, and related services.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, password hash, optional phone number, account role, and account activity. We do not store your plain-text password.

Property and listing information

We collect the property information you enter or confirm, including address, asking price, property characteristics, condition, garage information, descriptions, showing information, contact information, photos, floor plans, videos, links, and other marketing details.

Resumable property drafts

When you begin with a property address before creating an account, we may create an anonymous draft and store a secure draft identifier in your browser so you can continue later. Draft data may include the address, imported public-property data, your corrections, asking price, and onboarding progress.

Public and third-party property data

When a property-data provider is enabled, we may request public or licensed property information using the address you provide. Provider data is retained separately from seller-confirmed facts so third-party information does not silently become a public claim.

Photos and AI observations

When you use image-analysis features, we may process uploaded property photos to identify room types, visible features, image quality, and presentation suggestions. AI observations and confidence values may be stored with the property. Suggested features are not treated as seller-confirmed facts unless you confirm them.

Buyer and support communications

We store buyer inquiries sent through property pages and messages sent through our contact forms. We may also log service-email delivery information, such as recipient, subject, delivery status, and time, to support troubleshooting and communication monitoring.

Payments

Stripe processes card payments. FSBO Marketing may store the payment amount, status, property plan, Stripe payment reference, transaction dates, and related metadata. We do not store full card numbers in the FSBO Marketing application database.

Usage and technical information

We may collect authentication-session information, IP addresses or hashed IP values, browser/user-agent information, QR scans, page views, marketing-source information, login attempts, and other security or application events.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the service, create and maintain property listings, preserve onboarding progress, process photos and marketing assets, provide optional AI-assisted tools, deliver buyer inquiries, process payments, send service communications, measure QR and listing activity, prevent abuse, secure accounts, provide customer support, and maintain business records.

3. Public property information

Information you choose to publish on a property page is intentionally public. This may include the property address, asking price, photos, description, confirmed features, seller contact information, videos, links, floor plans, and other listing details. Public pages may be accessible to search engines and may be copied or cached by third parties outside our control.

4. Service providers

We use service providers where needed to operate FSBO Marketing. Depending on the features you use, these may include:

  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • OpenAI for optional AI-assisted descriptions, photo analysis, and property-assistant features.
  • RentCast or another configured property-data provider for public or licensed property information when that integration is enabled.
  • SendGrid for transactional email delivery.
  • Google Analytics for public-site traffic and usage measurement when analytics is enabled.
  • Hosting, database, storage, and security providers needed to operate the application.
  • YouTube or mapping services when a page embeds content from those services.

These providers process information according to their own agreements and privacy practices. We share only the information reasonably needed for the feature being used.

5. AI processing

When you request an AI-assisted feature, relevant listing facts, seller notes, confirmed features, or optimized property images may be sent to the configured AI provider to produce the requested result. FSBO Marketing records AI usage information such as the operation, model, token counts, and estimated cost for operational and billing analysis.

6. Cookies and browser storage

FSBO Marketing uses cookies or similar browser storage that are necessary for authentication, security, and resumable onboarding. These may include an authentication cookie, a PHP session cookie, and an anonymous property-draft cookie. We may also use browser storage for small recovery or interface state where appropriate.

7. QR codes and analytics

When someone scans a tracked QR code or interacts with a property page, we may record the campaign, time, browser information, referral information, and a hashed or limited network identifier. These records help the seller understand how marketing materials are being used.

When Google Analytics is enabled on the public website, Google may receive information about page visits, browser and device characteristics, referral information, approximate location derived from network information, and other usage events according to Google's Analytics documentation and settings. FSBO Marketing does not intentionally send seller passwords, full payment-card numbers, or private dashboard form contents to Google Analytics.

8. How long we keep information

We keep account, property, payment, communication, and operational records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, support users, maintain security, meet legal or accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Anonymous onboarding drafts are designed to expire after a limited retention period if they are not converted into an account property. Some security, analytics, backup, or transaction records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the service, including password hashing, secure authentication tokens, restricted administrative access, CSRF protection, secure cookies where configured, server-side validation, and controlled upload handling. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices

You can edit your account and property information through the service. You can remove or replace property photos and other listing content, change your password, unpublish or archive a property, and contact us about account or privacy questions.

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have additional rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other treatment of personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

11. Data sales and advertising

The current FSBO Marketing application is not designed to sell personal information to advertisers or to run behavioral advertising based on seller account data. If our practices materially change, this policy will be updated and any legally required choices will be provided.

12. Children

FSBO Marketing is intended for adults managing real estate marketing and is not directed to children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.

14. Contact

Privacy questions or requests can be sent to support@fsbo-marketing.com.
